Michael Lewin Solicitors supports Yorkshire based charity Supporting Older People
Law firm Michael Lewin Solicitors are proud to show their support to the charity ‘Supporting Older People’ as they enter their 15th year of providing legal services.
The charity is dedicated to supporting the older members of our community in and around Harrogate, North Yorkshire, helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation amongst older people who live alone.
Speaking about the sponsorship Abbie Keech, owner and Managing Director of Michael Lewin Solicitors commented, “I love that this team of organisers, carers and helpers are focussed on enabling the older community to make the most of their later life. The older generation are the fastest growing group in our society today and they need us more than ever before, and this charity does some amazing things – I am pleased that we are able to offer our support in this way.”
Mrs Keech continued “All the staff of Michael Lewin Solicitors have really got behind this charity and have already developed a calendar of events to help raise money, support and awareness. I’m so proud of everyone.”
Kate Rogata, the Director of Supporting Older People commented, “This is absolutely brilliant for us. Ageing is not an illness, but life can be a challenge for the older members of our communities; Michael Lewin Solicitors really get that and what we are trying to achieve here, and together I know that we will be able to inspire and support more people in the area.”
