885000 Toyota Vehicles to Be Recalled Because of Air Conditioning Problems

Toyota is recalling 885000 vehicles after Toyota identified a problem which could lead water to leak from the air conditioning unit.
Toyota said it could leak into the airbag control module which could cause a short circuit and trigger a warning light.
They added that the airbags “could become disabled or could inadvertently deploy” and in small cases this could disabled the power steering function.
The vehicles affected are the;
The Camry
Camry Hybrid
Avalon
Avalon Hybrid
Vensa made in 2012-13
Around 847000 cars are being recalled in North America and others will be recalled in Europe Asia and the Middle East.
A Toyota spokeswoman told the BBC they had received reports of two minor injuries because of the issue but no reports of crashes.
