Two Young Women Killed in"Horrific Accident" on the A419 have Been Named
The police have named the two women killed in an accident in Wiltshire as Shaya Rae Leigh 18 and Kerrylee O’Leary-Staniford 17 in what police described as a “horrific” accident.
Miss Leigh and Miss O’Leary-Staniford were driving at 05:00 am 18th May when their car left the carriageway and rolled down the bank.
Shaya Rae Leigh who was driving the vehicle died at the scene and Kerrylee O’Leary-Staniford died later in Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
Three 20 year old male passengers are all in hospital after being seriously injured.
Police confirmed that the 20 year old men were all thrown clear of the vehicle.
Four ambulance crews and rapid response paramedics attended the accident.
Two are in intensive care at Bristol’s Frenchay hospital and the third passenger is in Great Western Swindon hospital receiving treatment for his serious injuries.
Police are looking for information and PC Jeff Rice said.
“This was a horrific incident and we would like to offer our condolences to the families of the two young women who died.
“We are very keen to hear from anyone who was on the A419 near the scene around 5am today.”
