BBC’s Radio 2 and Watchdog Highlight Allergic Reactions in Cosmetic Products

There has been a significant recent rise in the number of dangerous allergic reactions to Cosmetic Products and some doctors are placing the blame firmly on a chemical called methylisothiazolinone.
Methylisothiazolinone or MI is a chemical used to improve shelf life in a number of Cosmetic Products manufactured by some of the industries biggest companies including Piz Buin Nivea L’Oreal and Clarins.
Some people may be suffering from painful allergic reactions to the cosmetics
products to the commonly used chemical. Some experts suggest that as many as 10 percent of the users of these products could be affected.
