Bullying at workadvice leads to Mr Marks making a claim. Michael Lewin were delighted to be of help.
Mr Marks had been a long distance lorry driver with his company for 16 years. He had always had a good relationship with his employer.
His boss sold the company and the new employer paid their staff much less than Mr Marks was paid. Mr Marks and many of his friends had to drive many miles to pick up the lorry from a depot miles away from his house at very unsociable hours. The previous management had always made the drop-off and pick up a part of the drive but there was nothing to that effect in the contract. Mr Marks found himself making a round trip of over 200 miles to and fro the depot to pick up a lorry.
He knew that this was just the method that the new bosses were using to force the old staff out so they could replace them with cheaper workers. Mr Marks resigned as he felt the bully boy tactics that the new boss was utilising would continue indefinitely. I have suffered frombullying at work and I would like some advice about making a claim. Our client has been amazed that the claims process is so easy.
