‘Cycle to Work Day’ is such a great initiative to stop people from clogging the roads up with motor vehicles and instead cycle to work!

The positives of cycling to work are endless. Here’s a list of the main benefits:

  • Increased cardiovascular fitness
  • Improved joint mobility
  • Less expensive that most other modes of transportation
  • Decreased stress levels
  • Improved posture and coordination
  • Social activity
  • Environmentally friendly
  • Convenience parking

Instead of cycling to work when prompted by ‘Cycle to Work’ Day’. Why not cycle to work every day and join us at Michael Lewin Solicitors as keen cycling enthusiasts!

Please be safe on the road, follow the Highway Code and remain alert to the movements of other road users around you.

If an accident can’t be avoided then we have specialists who can advise you on the claims process and make sure that you receive everything you are entitled to.

Cycle to Work Day is a national event to be held on September 14th, 2016. It aims to encourage everyone to take to two wheels and cycle to work for at least one day. Last year tens of thousands got involved including St Helens Council featured in the photograph above.

According to the census data, 741,000 people in the UK cycle to work regularly – this number keeps growing steadily, but with Cycle to Work Day’s help we are aiming to make those numbers skyrocket this year and beyond! By 2021, we hope to see one million people regularly commuting to work by bike.
