Delhi Police Use Yoga to Cope with Stress at Work

Delhi police are trying something different to combat their stress at work worries; yoga.
The police have started using yoga and meditation to combat stress at work and fatigue.
Nearly 35 senior officials attended a ‘Stress Management’ workshop yesterday where a spiritual healer gave a two hour lecture about co-ordination between body mind and soul.
The workshop showed the officials yoga postures to help achieve a healthy and stress free lifestyle.
The Delhi police officers who attended the workshop said that the workshop would come in useful in how to deal with stress at work.
Following the workshop the officials asked for the information to be printed in booklets so that it could be handed out to other police officers in the force.
