Ikea Recalls KRITTER and SINGLAR Junior Beds Because of Laceration Hazard

Ikea want customers who have bought Ikea KRITTER or SINGLAR junior beds to take them back after it was found that sharp metal could be sticking out of the bed frame.
They have received seven reports of the metal rods which connect the guardrail to the bed frame being broken. This may expose sharp metal edges and it could cause lacerations.
They haven’t received any reports of injury.
You can find whether you have purchased the beds affected by checking the date stamp which is on the underside of the bed or the headboard.
The KRITTER junior bed with the date stamp (YYWW) from 1114 to 1322 and SINGLAR junior beds with date stamp from 1114 to 1318 are affected.
Customers that have bought the recalled beds have been asked to call 0203 645 0010 or e-mail qualityteam@ikea.com to obtain a free repair kit exchange or a refund.
If you have been affected by something of similar nature then you must take the following steps:
1. Contact your GP and advise him of your condition
