The Loch Duart Artisan Smokehouse Oak Smoked Salmon has been recalled after Listeria Monocytogenes which could be a health risk.
According to the Food Standard’s Agency website the details of the salmon affected are;

Batch Code: 31072 07082 15082 13082 21082 and 06082.
Pack sizes: 125g 200g; 250g Whole sides (sliced and unsliaced) 800 – 1200g
Date Codes: various ‘use by’ dates between 28 August 2013 and 9 September 2013.
and ‘Use by’ dates between 03 September 2013 and 21 September 2013
The salmon has been recalled as a precaution after the bacteria was discovered in the above batch.
The Loch Duart Artisan Smokehouse Oak Smoked Salmon has had to be recalled because Listeria can cause pregnant women unborn and newborn babies people with poor immune systems and the over sixties to fall ill.
