Medical Negligence solicitor celebrates her qualification with another successful settlement
Michael Lewin Solicitors is pleased to report that on 2nd September 2013 Emma Hudson trainee solicitor in the firm’s thriving medical negligence team was formally admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts after completing her training contract.
Emma originally joined the Michael Lewin Solicitors team in 2010 as a paralegal in the road traffic accident and criminal injury department after completing her Legal Practice Course with a Commendation. She gained invaluable personal injury experience working on complex and litigated personal injury cases before moving on to develop her skills in the firm’s medical negligence department. Since joining the department Emma has developed her knowledge of many medical areas and already successfully concluded several cases. Emma says:
"I thoroughly enjoy the complexities of a medical negligence case and find that the detailed and thorough approach required to successfully conclude a case is well suited to my attention for detail. I am fascinated by the medical science aspect and enjoy seeing a successful outcome for clients who have been genuinely injured."
Emma celebrated her admission to the roll of solicitors by successfully concluding a case involving a delay in referral of a patient for urgent investigations by his GP. The successful client suffered an injury as a result of the delay and Emma was pleased to be able to obtain compensation on his behalf.
Of the success Emma said:
"I hope there are many more to come. I would urge anyone who believes they or a family member has been the victim of medical negligence to contact our department for a free-of-charge no obligation assessment. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain."
