Patterson Medical are asking People to Bring Back Their Walking Sticks Because a Fault means That They Might Fall

The wheeled and non-wheeled walking sticks have loose screws on the wheels which could cause the person using the walking stick to fall.
The walking stick batch codes affected are DMW12013 to DMW82013
The manufacturers Patterson Medical originally sent out a notice in May asking for the walking sticks to be returned but not enough people had got back to them saying that the walking sticks had been bought back.
The person that has given out the walking sticks to people needs to ensure that;
Identify affected devices
Perform the checks and actions detailed in the manufacturer’s field notice found here
Complete the reply letter and return it to Patterson Medical.
