Miss D. contacted the airline’s sales desk in regards to her rights and what the airline could do for her and was told that, upon her return to Luton, Easyjet would offer compensation in the sum of 250 euros and a refund of the value of the first night’s stay at the hotel booked in Ibiza, which had already been paid for and could not be cancelled due to the time scale involved.

She arrived in Beirut a day late and missed the first day of a business conference as a result.

Having written to British Airways several times with no response, Mrs R got in touch with Michael Lewin Solicitors. We were able to obtain £475 in compensation from British Airways for the client’s delayed flight.
