Police Officer’s Lover ‘was paid £600 for passing on names’ as Part of an Alleged Personal Injury Scam

Raza Khan who was the lover of a police officer reportedly stole personal details of people involved in road traffic accidents from her force’s computers and received £600 payments each time they were referred for compensation a court heard.
Raza Khan phoned a personal injury solicitors to say that he managed a garage and wanted to give them details of clients who could make compensation claims.
He would have been paid a £600 referral for each claim which was successful a jury a Winchester Crown Court heard.
Khan was having an affair with PC Sugra Hanif who stands accused of taking phone numbers from the Thames Valley Police logs.
Hanif 27 of Bretch Hill Banbury denies obtaining personal data from TVP’s control and command system and a charge of disclosing the personal data.
Khan from Birmingham denies obtaining personal data from the TVP’s control and command system.
Paramjeet Kaur Birmingham is accused of involvement in the crime denies with Khan and Hanif conspiracy to commit misconduct in a public office.
The case continues.
