Pieces of Saw Blade Found in One-Year-Old’s Sainsbury’s Chicken Kiev

Sophie Perks found an inch long piece of saw blade in her daughter’s chicken kiev.
Miss Perks cut up the chicken kiev on child’s her high chair table and was shocked to find metal inside which could have seriously injured her child.
Sophie returned to Sainsbury’s in Church Gresley Derby where much to her disgust they couldn’t offer her an explanation as to how the saw blade had got into her child’s meal.
She was offered another pack of the £2.50 kievs as an apology for the incident which occurred on 5th October.
She has now called for an investigation to find out where the saw blade was from and to ensure that no one else is affected by this.
Sainsbury’s have insisted incidents like this are extremely rare and have since launched an investigation and offered Miss Perks an apology for the incident.
